Sleeping-Giant

Technically this is not a toned image but a colour one. It was taken on a beach at Lochranza on Arran
and I was struck by the fossil effect of the rocks showing through the pebbles. To emphasise this I used layers and desaturated the background
then selectively erased the colour copy layer to reveal the mono image beneath. Layers are a powerful tool in Photoshop with many applications.
