The Ochils are on my doorstep and are great for impromptu visits on days that are better than forecast. 
This picture was taken on such a day in March 2006. Walks on these hills roll along easily but images tend to be better on the ascents & descents. 
In this case the Castle & Forth valley provide the context though there are many viewpoints that work for this subject.
