This frozen pond on the Roches in Staffordshire is called 'The doxy pool' after a ghostly presence
in the form of a beautiful girl who reputables bathes in it. I was lucky to visit it after a good snowfall and this image
was perceived in mono from the very start. I have used the 'Unsharp mask' rather heavily on it to strengthen the grass in the foreground.
