Millstone Edge in Derbyshire is one of my favourite locations for landscape photography. 
The effect of quarrying seems to suggest the use of  black & white which is often better for documentary photography. 
The part finished millstones and square edged cliffs are particularly striking in high contrast 'soot & chalk' mode.
